Introduction to the process and purpose of PCB factory inspection

1. Communication between procurement personnel and suppliers

Explain in advance the time and personnel composition of the factory inspection, as well as the matters that need the cooperation of the circuit board factory during the factory inspection. Before factory inspection, some formal enterprises need the PCB factory to provide their basic information, such as business license, tax registration, bank of deposit, etc. Some also need to fill in a detailed written audit report provided by the purchaser.

2. First factory inspection meeting

The brief introduction of the personnel of both parties, the arrangement of accompanying personnel, and the schedule of factory inspection are the same as the routine of ISO review.

3. Review of document system

Whether the document system of the circuit board factory is complete. For example, if the circuit board factory has design and development, whether there is a document system that forms program documents for design and development activities. If there are no important documents, it is a major lack.

4. On site review

It is mainly to go to the site to see, such as the 5S of the circuit board factory workshop, warehouse, fire-fighting facilities, dangerous goods identification, material identification, plan, etc.

5. Interview with management personnel of circuit board factory

If there are still some problems that you don’t understand in the factory inspection, you can communicate with the company’s management again to learn more about the situation.

6. Wrap up meeting

The advantages and nonconformities seen in the factory inspection shall be summarized, and data such as how to change the nonconformities, when to improve them, and who will complete them shall be transferred to the factory inspector for confirmation within a certain time.
